About this event

In 1950’s Middlesbrough, Mother Hubbard lives over the border and down by the Tees with her dog Bongo. She builds and designs wonderful cupboards and cabinets as well as feeding and looking after all the children who live there. However, her neighbours, the very naughty Jack Spratt and his wife raid her larder, leaving her, her dog and all the neighbours’ kids with nothing to eat! And so, begins a wonderful journey across the Town as they meet nursery rhyme characters galore in their search for a well-made Parmo.

Created, designed and written by Middlesbrough Town Hall’s New Wave Group and performed alongside members of Dementia Action Teesside, Staying Included and Ageing Well community groups, this is a special panto not to be missed.

This show is a relaxed performance with BSL interpretation with all tickets being Pay What You Feel and the money raised going to Dementia Action Teesside.
