Meet our four doormen and our four cocktail waitresses, all with a story to tell!

The plays ‘Bouncers’ and ‘Shakers’ by John Godber and Jane Thornton have been combined into one fast-paced comedy-drama following a single night out at a Northern English nightclub through the eyes of four doormen: Lucky Eric, Judd, Les, and Ralph, and four cocktail waitresses Carol, Nikki, Adele and Mel.

Performed by just eight actors, the play uses multi roling and ‘total theatre’ to shift rapidly between the Bouncers and Shakers and over 35 different characters on their nights out.
