About this event
Expect magic, mischief and mayhem as Tees Valley Gilbert and Sullivan Society bring Iolanthe back to Middlesbrough Theatre.
Iolanthe is a fairy who was banished to a stream for committing the ultimate sin – she married a mortal. Her story brings the fairies into conflict with the House of Lords mandating that the Lords be replaced with people of intelligence, integrity and ability!
This timeless classic blends politics, sharp comedy and sparkling music, promising an enchanting evening for all ages.
